Mum, My first Mother’s Day without you and it hurts like hell. I will miss bringing you brightly coloured flowers, watching you smile when you see them. I will miss taking you for afternoon tea and telling you off for eating too much cake. Every day I miss your laugh, your wicked sense of humour. I will try not to be sad while others around me treasure their mums on Mother’s Day, instead I will remember the precious times we had together, and eat too much cake in your honour. Xxxxxxx
