1943-2023 My lovely and unique Mum Our first Mother's Day without her, for my three brothers and I. My Mum had dementia and lived in care for the last 12 years of her life, although I'm a specialist Dementia Nurse, working for Dementia UK, I was also her daughter and know personally the impact dementia has on the person and their family. We miss her very much but keep in our hearts the wonderful mum she was and remember all the laughs and memories she gave us, and there where many. xxx
